Medical Review Officers

AAMRO-Certified

Applicant Information’s professional Medical Review Officers (MRO) are licensed physicians knowledgeable in substance abuse disorders. Our MROs have the appropriate medical training to interpret and evaluate an individual’s positive test result using verified medical information provided by the specimen donor. Our Applicant Information MROs are credentialed in their medical discipline and certified by the American Association of Medical Review Officers (AAMRO).

The primary responsibility of the MRO is to review, evaluate, and interpret drug test results from the laboratory. Positive test results must be carefully evaluated to determine any alternative medical explanation. Proper research is conducted before producing conclusions. We provide immediate MRO response on positive test results.

We have three certified MRO assistants who work under the direct supervision of the MROs to facilitate the administrative process.

The Applicant Information MRO Center strictly follows the guidelines established in Title 49 Part 40 of “Procedures for Transportation Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs.”
